Astrolabe offers three very distinctive ranges within its extensive portfolio of wines – Voyage, Discovery and Experience – each one created to take you on a very special, rewarding wine journey.

  • Voyage range.

    Voyage range

    The Voyage range comprises of accessible wines offering archetypal Marlborough styles through shrewd viticultural management, fruit selection and intuitive winemaking. Wines in this range are available in New Zealand and abroad.

    Wines in the Voyage range are Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc , Pinot Noir , Dry Riesling , Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewurtraminer.

  • Discovery range.

    Discovery range

    These are wines that provide focus and clarity on Marlborough’s fast-emerging sub-regions. Certainly regional and sometimes vineyard-specific, these wines highlight the attributes of individual sites and districts and their ensuing characteristics in the finished wines.

    Wines in the Discovery range are Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc , Kekerengu Coast Sauvignon Blanc , Awatere Valley Pinot Gris, Kekerengu Coast Pinot Gris, Grovetown Riesling.

  • Experience range.

    Experience range

    And now for something different. Wines in this range demonstrate Simon’s innovative treatment of specific parcels of fruit and his willingness to challenge the ‘everyday’ winemaking process. Simon loves to experiment while capturing the raw, ethereal and sometimes undiscovered qualities of individual grape varieties.

    Wines in the Experience range are Noble Riesling, The Rocks Pinot Gris and Astrolabe Farm Riesling, all come in 6 packs.

  • Durvillea range.

    Durvillea range

    All along Marlborough’s wild coast, clinging to rocks at low tide, is the seaweed Durvillea. We know it as bull kelp or rimurapa and its strong lines, shapes, textures and colours mirror the depth and complexity of flavours found in our wine. Durvillea Wines is a 'little sister' wine for established label Astrolabe Wines. It is  made by Simon Waghorn, with the women in the family taking responsibility for the wine after Simon has actually made it.

    Wines in the Durvillea range are Sauvignon Blanc , Pinot Noir and, Pinot Grigio.
